My homeopathic journey began around 1990 when I was introduced to this method by a homeopathic veterinarian, Dr. Stephen Blake. From the first day of learning about this very effective system of medicine that worked so successfully on animals (who know nothing about the placebo effect) I was hooked! I spent the next 10 years “dabbling” in homeopathy and using it to treat the rest of my family.

Finally, in 2002 after suffering from 20 years of back pain and allergies, I sought the help of a local Classical Homeopath and was cured! My back pain and allergies resolved within a few months.

From here my journey moved onto a three-year formal education at the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California. I continue to deepen my understanding of the art and science of homeopathy through advanced on-going case taking and in-depth study of remedies at the California Center for Homeopathic Education. I also attend professional seminars with international homeopathic masters and alternate health practitioners.

Education and Training

Advanced Certification in Classical Homeopathy from the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California.

Certification of by the CHC (Council for Homeopathic Certification) as a classical homepath, and ten plus years of personal study and experience using Homeopathy.

My education also includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Science in Human Resources from Chapman University.

My education in both of these fields serves me as a homeopath in that it gives me insight into the nature of people, how the body heals itself and how homeopathy can be used to facilitate this process.

If you're wondering what the initials following my name designate:

RSHom (NA) -- Registered Society of Homeopaths.
This is a designation given by the North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH) to practitioners who have been certified by the board of the Council for Homeopathic Certification.

CCH -- Certified in Classical Homeopathy
This designation is given by the Council for Homeopathic Certification to those homeopaths who have satisfied the required educational and clinical experience, and who have demonstrated high competency in case-taking skills. Additionally, a CCH homeopath has successfully completed formal classroom and clinical training in homeopathy, core classes in western medicine, and a series of exams covering all aspects of classical homeopathy. The organization was formed to unify the homeopathic profession by defining a rigorous set of standards and ethics, thus providing confidence in its roster of practitioners. Note that the CCH designation does not serve as a license to practice medicine. It simply verifies that an individual has attained a level of competency as a classical homeopath.
